Nature and Therapy
Community Interest Company
A haven for people and wildlife
Little West (Nature and Therapy) CIC was established in May 2024 to benefit children, young people, families and individuals within South Wales by providing specialist therapeutic services and nature-connection opportunities. Little West aims to create a safe haven for people and wildlife; with educational and collective action opportunities which encourage biodiversity and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
Little West is set over four acres on the edge of the village of Wick, Vale of Glamorgan, a mile from the Heritage coast, with views of the sea and over to north Devon.
We plan to develop a food growing garden at Little West.
The land is currently being prepared by 3 Saddleback pigs!

Therapy at Little West provides specialist therapeutic services for children, young people and their families with a focus on using play, creativity and nature therapeutically. We also provide clinical supervision, consultancy and training for professionals.
Coming in 2025
In July 2024 Little West were delighted to be granted Welsh Government funding, through the Heritage Fund to create a Coetiroedd Bach (Tiny Forest).
The new small woodland, which will be created in collaboration with the local community, will follow the Miyawaki method of planting and provide opportunity for citizen science, education around biodiversity and the climate crisis, and a therapeutic space.
